Olive picking and lunch with tasting
Between October and November, you will have the chance to take part in a truly special event: the olive harvest. The experience consists of a 30-minute walk to reach the olive groves of the estate, where you will be picking olives with us for around 2 hours. At the end of the activity we will go back to the village of Mensanello, where you will visit the running olive press. Finally, you will enjoy a well-deserved lunch with wine tasting.

The yellow gold of Tuscany: saffron, from farm to table
Between October and November, another magic happens at Tenuta di Mensanello: the saffron blooms. With a 10-minute walk we will take you to our field, which turns into a sea of purple flowers, where we will pick the precious saffron pistils. We will learn how to patiently clean them to obtain the famous, exclusive and flavorful saffron. Get ready to taste its incredibly intense aroma.
